Evelyn and I first met at a funeral service of a mutual friend, back in 1996.  That singular event has brought us together for numerous wedding and funeral services as well as benefit concerts for cancer victims and homeless shelters in the Lehigh Valley area.
     In February of 2005, once again we collaborated our music, but this time, for the funeral service of a United States Marine, a Bethlehem native who was killed in the Iraq war. 
     Since that funeral, we have shared music for over 250 families who have experienced the loss of their loved one.  The reason?  Families now have the opportunity to select their special music, to be performed "live" as an intricate part of their loved one's funeral service.  What began as a heartfelt thought from one family member......"Evelyn and John, your music made all the difference".... has become a lasting testimony to the importance of having "live" music chosen by the family to help celebrate and remember. 
     Furthering our committment to the bereaved, Evelyn and I are planning a CD of comforting music to be distributed to families in need.
