July 21, 2005 March of 2007... July of 2007.... George enjoyed your music through the years, from Musikfest to churches. I recently attended Mrs. Hinkle's funeral and when I heard you sing again (I had heard you many times in the past, including my father's funeral nearly 25 years ago) I was so moved that I searched on the web hoping to find information on albums or venues you may be singing at. December 31, 2007 It was an honor to share the special music selected for Mr. Ed Bennick's funeral service held at Cantelmi's Funeral Home at 11 a.m. on Monday, New Year's Eve. Together with our good friend, Rev. Alan Hermansader who offered his personal reflection on the life of Eddie, my accompanist and I extend our sincere sympathies to Ellie and her entire family. It was nice visiting with them to offer them assistance in selecting their special music which included: "Here I Am Lord", "To Where You Are", "Wind Beneath My Wings", and their favorite, "Goodbye." May the memories of that day continue to reflect the love and joy which Eddie shared with others. March 29, 2008 John, thank you for singing at my Dad's funeral. Your music is your ministry. Nov 22, 2008 March 7, 2009 John, looking at your website and reading the remarks made me think about my wife’s funeral last week. Just want to say "Thank You" again for making everyone feel sooooooooo good. You did a great job, and I really appreciate your coming to Chalfont and singing for my wife. Bill Stubits
John, thank you. A most enjoyable presentation enjoyed by all. You made a lot of people happy. Sept. 23, 2009 March 19, 2010 Dear John, forgive me for not responding sooner. There have been so many emotions to deal with since Mother's passing, and my brother, sister, and I are taking it one step at a time. We want to tell you that we were so very touched by your presence at her funeral--it meant so much to us. Your voice is certainly a gift from God, and I imagine this is surely how his Angels must sound. We are grateful that you were able to be at her service and share this gift with us at a time of such grief and upheaval in our lives. It imparted such a sense of peace and comfort, and I can still hear you singing the Song of Farewell---I will remember it all of my days. Know that since Mother's funeral, we have received many, many very positive comments from friends, family, choir members, and our Monsignor, who admire and appreciate your talent. They also have been touched by your gift. I wanted to let you know that I will give your contacts to those who ask. Dear John, I'm writing this short note to thank you for the beautiful singing you did for my mother's funeral on March 19th at St. Peter's in Coplay. I've heard several people comment on the excellent job you do, and I've heard you on a tape that Mom gave me from years ago, from a St. Peter's concert. It was wonderful to hear the real thing and now I'd love to meet you in person as my sister Rosemary has certainly spoken very highly of you. johnbauer.com
